Information
Connecting a Website to a customer's database is the most advanced technology for creating
the fully interactive and dynamic pages. I have chosen ASP - Active Server Pages, used and
developed by Microsoft and Internet Information Server - IIS as a programming
platform that enables to publish information on the internet or your intranet.
The most useful sites on the Internet (eg Amazon.com, The Internet Movie Database, Monster.com) all use large RDBMSes (Relational Database Management Systems). It is possible though to develop applications - create a website capable of tracking a more modest amount of information. There is a lot of things you can do with Microsoft's Access!
'Ascatalogue.co.uk' is intended to be an example, prototype for those who would like to have something similar on their website. And as the most important part of every business oriented website is to use it as an automated sales medium, I have developed Shopping Cart (based on ASP101.com sample script) and Electronic Payment On-line so that customer woud visit website, view an on-line catalogue of its products, place orders for which they make payments depending on their choice: local secure payment or PayPal.
You can combine it with MS ASP Upload (all types of files), which I have developed for upload of multiple files and sizes) with saving both to the directory and to the database. ASP Shopping Cart is displaying run-time thumbs for all images and sizes, thanks to MS Access, re-calculation of the shipping is enabled with each delivery address, without a loss of single other data / customer input.

PS: When designed for the specific shop it is necessary securely
encrypt data transmissions between clients and servers.
Do not order goods here, please, I shall design your customized website!
